Terms of Service.

The agreement between you and TabRack for using the extension, an optional account, and one-time monthly Pro. Plain-English summaries head each section; the full text is what applies.

1. Who we are

TabRack (the “Service”) is a browser extension and related web services operated by Ashish Kumar Choubey, a sole proprietor based in Bangalore, India (“TabRack”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

TabRack helps you triage, organize, and revive browser tabs. Core tab-management features run locally in your browser and require no account. Some optional features — built-in AI and server-side account sync — require a free TabRack account and connect to our backend. Those features are opt-in and clearly labeled.

3. Accounts

You may create a free account to use AI and account sync. You are responsible for keeping your account token and password safe, and for activity that happens under your account. Provide a valid email address so we can send receipts and important service notices. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (at least 18, or the age of majority where you live).

4. Free plan and Pro

• Free includes the full extension plus a limited monthly allowance of AI tokens (currently 2,500 tokens/month).
• Pro is a one-time monthly purchase (currently $7.90 for 30 days, charged in USD — see section 5) that raises your monthly AI allowance (currently 30,000 tokens/month), lets you buy one-time top-ups, and unlocks unlimited account sync.
• Token allowances, prices, and feature limits may change; we will give notice of material changes and they will not apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

5. Billing and renewal

Pro is a one-time payment processed through Razorpay that unlocks Pro features for 30 days. It does not auto-renew: there is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. When your 30 days end, your account returns to Free automatically; to continue, buy Pro again from inside TabRack (Options → Account). Pro is charged in US Dollars ($7.90 for 30 days). The exact amount and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which includes a 30-day money-back guarantee.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not collect, see, or store your full card number or other complete payment credentials — those go directly to the processor. Your use of checkout is also subject to the processor's terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to break the law or infringe others' rights;
• probe, overload, or disrupt our backend, or attempt to bypass usage limits, the paywall, or security controls;
• resell, sublicense, or abuse the AI proxy (for example, automated bulk requests beyond normal personal use);
• reverse-engineer the Service except where the law permits it.

8. AI features

AI responses are generated by a third-party model through our backend proxy and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on them as professional advice, and review anything important before acting on it. AI is available only when you turn it on and connect an account.

9. Intellectual property

TabRack and its logo, code, and content are owned by us and protected by applicable law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service under these Terms. Content you create (notes, folders, sessions) remains yours.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost — keep your own backups of anything important.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TabRack is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. On termination, the licence in section 9 ends.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, India, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you other rights.
